Program Description: 

The Vision Academy Afterschool Program provides academic support through homework help with dedicated tutors, skills building and strategies techniques through guided Chess competitions, and leadership opportunities through peer tutoring. The program serves the primarily African American and Latino/a students in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco to inspire academic engagement in a pro-social environment. Service hours are Monday through Friday 2:30 - 6:00 p.m. throughout the school year.
