Program Description:

The K2C program has four main goals:

INCREASE YOUR CHILD'S CHANCES OF ATTENDING COLLEGE. When kids know they have money set aside for college, it feels like a real possibility for them and you.

HELP YOUR CHILD BE FINANCIALLY PREPARED FOR COLLEGE. When you start saving in kindergarten, your account can grow over time into something that can make a real difference.

HELP YOUR CHILD LEARN ABOUT MONEY. It's called "financial education" - knowing how money works, how to take care of it, and how to make it work for you. Through K2C, we'll introduce financial education into the classroom.

GIVE ALL FAMILIES ACCESS TO TOOLS THAT BUILD WEALTH. In San Francisco, one in three kids are born into families without savings or assets, and they may not have access to financial products. K2C levels the field.
