Program Description: 

Latinos en Extasis teaches 12 to 17 year olds to facilitate peer-led health education groups. The topics include sexual and reproductive health: STI's/HIV, contraception, and healthy relationships. For each program cycle ten core participants, known as Peer Outreach Educators (POE), engage in training, workshop facilitation, and youth development activities. The POE visit afterschool programs to connect with youth. Each fall a drugs and alcohol module begins the yearly programming. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm.
