Program Description: 

Latino Student Union is a youth empowerment program that provides a space and guidance for youth from immigrant families to explore and express themselves regarding history, current issues, and cultural identity. Twice weekly activities at John O'Connell High School include educational workshops, event and project organizing, visits to Latino Professionals in the community, college tours, and participation in conferences and retreats. The Latino Student Union focuses activities toward Latino immigrant youth, but all youth regardless of ethnicity are welcome.
