Program Description: 

Since 1970, CYC has been a key agency for Asian youth services in the City, offering services that address behavioral, health, education, intervention, leadership development, street outreach, and workforce development among youth ages 11 to 25.


CYC offers FREE afterschool Media Arts Computer workshops for middle and high school students. Students learn desktop publishing, blogging, t-shirt design, video editing, website building, music recording, building computers, and more.

Afterschool: For the Supporting Transitions and  Aspirations Mentorship Program CYC will target, identify, and recruit 25 youth mentees to be paired with 25 adult mentors. Mentees and mentors will go through an initial assessment, screening process, and orientation to determine the most ideal match. Following the orientation, mentees will meet once a week for workshops, project based learning and enrichment activities such as college prep workshops, college campus tours, community service projects and other youth leadership development events. mentees and mentors meet one-on-one as well as during monthly convening activities and during collaboration on a service learning project.
