The JCC in San Francisco hosts the teen program Club 18, a social club for middle school kids with activities during afterschool hours and weekends. With Club 18 Access, your middle schooler has a safe place to go after school. The experienced staff provides them with a home away from home where they can hang out with friends, work on homework, participage in a weekly Tikkun Ha-olam community service project, or play basketball. There is also a weekly Friday Shabbat and movie. Club 18 access includes a community membership to the JCC for Member pricing, plus priority registration on Club 18 events. Club 18 also offers Enrichment Programs which make your child's week what they want it to be. They can register for private tutoring sessions, workouts with trainers, skill-building classes and more. There is a diverse menu of programs and they accommodate changing schedules and interests by providing this opportunity for each child to tailor their afterschool experience to what they want it to be. Club 18 Access is not required to register for the Club 18 enrichment activities. Enrichment is available for grades 6–8, Monday–Thursday from 2pm–5:30pm. Complete information and registration forms are available on the JCC website.
