Program Description: 

The Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) provides health and social services to the Latino and immigrant community. Programs include immigration legal services and advocacy, family support services (housing assistance, mental health counseling, parent education on topics relevant to Latino immigrant families), obesity prevention through a bilingual afterschool program at Everett Middle School (Cuerpo Sano/Healthy Bodies Program), and a tattoo removal program for youth (Second Chance Program).
