Program Description: 

Started as a non-profit in 1984, Camp Alumni Membership Program's (C.A.M.P.) mission is to give inner-city youth opportunities to camp in beautiful nature spots in and close to the Bay Area. They believe that every child should be able to have a camping experience.Activities include: outdoor survival-skill building, ropes courses, climbing, swimming, diving, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, arts and crafts, performing arts, and other sports. Campers live in a cabin (a "tribe") with eleven to fifteen other campers and two to three leaders.2013 Boys Camp Session:
This is a week-long, traditional resident camp in the Sierras.Dates: August 4–August 11Location: Camp Oljato, Huntington Lake, Lakeshore, Fresno CountyAges: 10 to 18Cost: $80 per camper2013 Girls Camp Session:
Girls Camp is for girls who are new to camping.Dates: June 5–June 9Location: Redwood Glen, Loma Mar, CAAges: 10 to 16Cost: $60 per camper
