This very unique and beautiful mansion has a past with lots of stories. In 1884, a wealthy widow named Sarah L. Winchester began a construction project of such magnitude that it was to occupy her life and the lives of carpenters and craftsmen until her death 38 years later. Climb strange staircases, see doors that lead to nowhere, and hear the story of Ms. Winchester's unusual life. Special evening "flashlight tours" are offered every Friday the 13th, some Saturdays, as well as during Halloween.
