RayKo Photo Center is an all-purpose photography facility offering darkroom and equipment rental, classes and workshops, photo processing, and fantastic current exhibits. The facility has a rental studio, state-of-the-art digital lab, and a gallery that features work by emerging and established photographers. They have a youth program that offers in-school photography workshops that include Polaroid, Polaroid and Writing, Black and White Photography, Photogram (a photographic image made [without a camera] by placing objects directly onto the surface of a photo-sensitive material such as photographic paper and then exposing it to light), Pinhole Camera, Disposable Camera, and more.The staff is made up of a diverse group of working artists whose interests range from mastering the art of traditional darkroom printing, to creating new digital printing processes.Classes:Rayko offers classes in both darkroom and digital photography, as well as technique classes. Instructors also offer one-on-one customized tutoring services for photographers of all levels.
