Organization Description: 

If you ever want to learn more about the history of the computer and the development of Silicon Valley, this museum is for you. Exhibits include a timeline of computer history from 1939 to 1994, the history of the internet from 1962 to 1992, the history of computer chess, and more. Get to know the who's who of Silicon Valley by visiting the Hall of Fellows. The museum's collection called Catalog Search is a great resource that includes  hardware, ephemera, photographs, moving images, software, and documents of computer history. For any computer enthusiast of any age, the trek down to the South Bay should be done over and over again.

Getting There: 
From San Francisco, take 101 South toward San Jose. Take the Shoreline Boulevard exit. Turn left on Shoreline. Cross through the intersection and the museum will be on your right. You can also take Caltrain to the Mountain View Caltrain Station. Take the Caltrain Shoreline Shuttle to Pear Avenue Museum entrance is across from the parking lot.
