Organization Description: 

Aquarium of the Bay is the aquarium you view from the inside out. You'll be surrounded by thousands of spectacular marine animals as you take a wondrous walk through more than 300 feet of crystal-clear tunnel that's actually submerged inside the Aquarium. It is a unique educational and entertainment facility dedicated to the rich and diverse aquatic life of the San Francisco Bay and its surrounding waters. There are four different areas to visit: Discover the Bay, Under the Bay, Touch the Bay, and Save the Bay.School programs are available through the Marine Education Department. SFUSD schools can have FREE field trips. Call for more information.Celebrations:Children ages 2 to 12 have a blast at birthday parties with special guests such as bat rays and octopi. Party options include a Sea Star Party, Shark Party, Tropical Fish Party, and Birthday Sleepovers in which kids sleep in the tunnels surrounded by sharks, eels, and thousands of other sea creatures of the Bay at night! Birthday party packages are available for groups of up to 35 children and adults on most Saturdays and Sundays from 11am–2pm.

Located at the entrance of Pier 39. Parking garages are available across the street. The Pier 39 garage is probably the most expensive (over $20). Go a few blocks away and find it for half the price for all day ($12).Muni: F Market, 39, 47
