Description
The Mission YMCA is a safe and enriching place for youth to participate in different kinds of activities during afterschool hours, weekends, and school breaks.
In cooperation with the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco, the Mission YMCA offers weekend programs at the Excelsior Youth Center. Activities include arts and crafts, Pee Wee sports, dance, boxing, cooking, baking, basketball, and more. Call (415) 452-7578 for details on these programs.
Martial arts are offered on Saturdays at Palega Park, 500 Felton Street. Contact the Palega Park Rec Connect Director at (415) 306-4743 to sign up.

The Mission YMCA also offers "kids nights out" for kids to have a special night at the YMCA without parents. Drop off your child every other Friday from 6:30pm–9pm for $10 per child. Children must be potty trained.
Camps:
Camps offer kids in grades K–8 activities such as arts and crafts, sports, Spanish, and daily field trips to parks, beaches, the zoo, and swimming pools. Financial assistance is available. Summer preschool is also available for kids ages 2 to 5.
