Description

With almost 11,000 pieces of original artwork, classrooms, and an on-site research library, the Cartoon Art Museum (CAM) is a really cool place to visit. There is always a changing roster of visually stunning and intriguing exhibits on established, alternative, and up-and-coming artists.

Classes:
The museum offers cartooning classes for kids ages 8 to 14 years old on some Saturdays throughout the year. Students will learn a wide variety of skills in each class, with subjects ranging from character design to
story-boarding to creating their own mini-comics. Limited space is available and reservations are recommended but not mandatory. Classes are $5, which includes admission to the museum for the day and art supplies.

Camps:
CAM’s Cartoon Boot Camps offer cartooning classes for intermediate-level art students.
