JAMboodas and JAMcamp

A constellation of classes and camps focusing on music, movement and mindfulness, JAM was founded in 2001 by Charity Kahn, mother, musician, composer, author, and recording artist as a vehicle for bringing the joy of music and movement to children and their families.

Spring Session: Seven week session beginning April 3; choose Wednesdays at 9:45am or Thursdays at 9:45am; $185/$145 new/returning families (JAMband CD pack included for new families).

JAMcamp:
JAMcamp is a super-fun and enriched opportunity to dive deep into the world of aware-winning family musicians Charity and the JAMband, via singing, dancing, creative drama, songwriting, art creation, crafting, gardening, mindfulness and playing for kids in grades K–4. Camps end with a one-of-a-kind performance for families at the end of the week.

2013 Week-long Summer Sessions:
Dates: June 10–June 14, June 24–June 28, July 8–July 12, July 22–July 26
Ages: 5 to 9 (Ages 4 and 10 considered on a case-by-case basis)
Days/Times: Mondays through Fridays, 9am–4pm
Cost: $385 per week; multiple-week and sibling discounts available

2013 School Break and Spring Break JAMcamp Sessions:
Dates: January 21 (MLK Day), February 18 (President's Day), March 28, March 29
Ages: 5 to 9 (a few 4 years old are welcome, too)
Times: 9am–4pm
Cost: $75 per day for first child, $60 per day per sibling; (snack included, lunch not included)

Celebrations:
Charity throws a super fun party! Get a taste of the JAM experience plus party games, favors, CDs of quality music, and food (optional). Parties are available for kids ages 1 to 8. Call for other dates and times available. Drop-off is available for kids ages 5 and up. The basic party package is $330 for a maximum of 50 people and includes CD party favors for 10 kids.

Concerts:
Come to a Charity and the JAMband family concert prepared for a happy, healthy, engaging, child-centric yet parent-friendly mini-festival for families! These events are a rocking celebration of coming together as one big family, united by song, dance and love. The band is renowned for its funky and unforgettable grooves, stick-in-your-head melodies, and lyrics that talk up to kids. And all of our songs have accompanying choreography, so the mosh pit is always grooving.
