Monkey Business Camp

Monkey Business offers a variety of camps during summer, winter, ski week, and spring breaks.

Day camps give kids the opportunity to spend their breaks learning about their environment, engaging in lots of play, sports, arts and crafts, and doing traditional camp activities in beautiful, natural outdoor settings. Kids ages 11 to 17 can participate in counselor training and leadership programs (CIT).

2013 Week-long Summer Sessions:

- Papaya Campers: August 12–August 30; Shepherd of the Hills and Tilden Park; 3 to 4; 8:30am–3:30pm (extended care until 6pm); $325–$350 per week
- Woodshop: July 8–July 26; Berkwood Hedge School; 8 to 13; 9am–1pm (no extended care); $275 per week or $795 for the whole three-week session
- Tilden Park: June 10–August 30 (no camp the week of July 1); 4.5 to 10; 8:30am–3:30pm (extended care until 6pm); $350–$440 per week; discounts available
CIT/Junior Counselors: 11 to 15; minimum two-week commitment; $250 per week

2013 Girls On The Go Sessions:
Dates: June 17–August 23 (no camp week of July 1)
Ages: girls ages 9 to 13
Days/Times: Mondays through Fridays, 8am–4pm
Cost: $360 per one-week session
Extended care: 4pm–6pm ($60 per week)

2013 Spring Break Sessions: April 1–April 5
2013 February Break Session: February 19–February 22
Location: Berkwood Hedge School, 1809 Bancroft Way
Ages: 4.5 to 10, CIT/Youth Leaders 11 to 15, Junior Counselors 14 and up
Days/Times: Mondays through Fridays, 8:30am–3:30pm
Cost: $70 per day; $50 for CITs; $15 for JCs; sibling discount available
Extended care: 8am–8:30am ($5 per day), 3:30pm–6pm ($18  per day)

2012–2013 Winter Break Session:
Dates: December 26–December 28, January 2–January 4
Location: The Berkeley School, 1310 University Avenue, Berkeley
Ages: 4.5 to 10; Youth leaders (CIT) 11 to 15
Times: 8:30am–3:30pm
Cost: $70–$83 per day; CIT and sibling discounts available
Extended care: 8am–8:30am ($5 per day), 3:30pm–6pm ($18 per day)
